React Native vs Flutter: which is better for my app?
There’s no universal answer. React Native wins if your team is already in JavaScript or React, if you need strong code sharing with a web app, or if you’re building a business tool. Flutter wins if the UI is complex, the experience needs to be pixel-perfect, or you’re building something that looks and feels like a native consumer app. We’ll tell you which one fits your situation in the first call — it’s a 5-minute conversation once we know what you’re building.
Can you build for both iOS and Android without doubling the work?
Yes. Both React Native and Flutter use a single codebase for iOS and Android. You don’t pay twice and you don’t wait twice. There are cases where OS-specific adjustments are needed — App Store guidelines, iOS-specific native modules, Android-specific permission flows — but these are incremental, not a full rebuild. One team, one sprint cycle, two store submissions.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. The contract specifies IP transfer and source code ownership. You get repository access from the start. We hand over code at each milestone, not only at the end of the project. This is standard in every engagement — not an add-on you need to negotiate for.
How quickly can a developer start?
For staff augmentation: we typically make introductions within 5–10 business days. The developer can start the week after that in most cases. For a project team: scoping and team assembly usually takes 1–2 weeks. We don’t have a queue of 50 clients waiting — when we take on a project, we move on it.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. Store submission is included in project-based engagements. We handle the App Store Connect setup, metadata, screenshots, compliance checklist, and review submission — including responding to review rejections, which happen more often than vendors tell you upfront. For augmentation, our developers know the submission process and can handle it within your workflow.
What if my current mobile app needs maintenance but I’m not building anything new?
We offer monthly retainers for exactly this. Bug fixes, OS compatibility updates, dependency security patches, Play Store / App Store compliance changes — without needing to scope a full project.
